American Muslim Anti-Semitism

E-mail Print PDF

I make no secret of my disagreement with the ADL over gun rights, but I have to credit them nonetheless for the good job they do in researching and tracking Anti-Semitism. The ADL recently released information on the growing threat of American Muslim Anti-Semitism. As always, Jews are the proverbial "canary in the coal mine." As for the rest of America, I encourage you all to wake up and stand beside us -- or you will find yourselves standing alone all to soon.

Gun Ban Promotes Murder in Chicago

As any sane person would realize, taking guns out of the hands of good people won't stop the murderers from using them. Even the mainstream press, like PR Newswire, is beginning to understand that.

But Chicago Mayor Daley still doesn't get it and wants all guns -- or at least, all guns owned by law-abiding citizens -- kept out of Chicago. Since when is self-defense a privilege and not a right and obligation?

Fear the government that doesn't trust its own citizens to own guns.

Guns Will Stop Murders in Chicago

E-mail Print PDF

The Washington Times writes that guns will reduce the murder rate in Chicago. Why is that? Surprise, even criminals don't want to get killed. What's the deterrent criminals fear most? It isn't prison. Prison is great for a criminal -- it's like college: free room & board, lots of colleagues to learn from, an opportunity to work out, improve your fighting skills. What could be better for preparing you to "get back to work" on the outside?

No, more than being caught, more than police, criminals fear an armed victim. The odds of police catching a criminal in the act are almost nil. The odds of an armed victim resisting are very high.

Don't believe it? Read all about it in More Guns, Less Crime by John Lott. (Wikipedia Summary)

Well, the news is out... apparently, Faisal Shahzad got onto his escape flight to Dubai in spite of the fact that his name was on the famous "No Fly" list -- you know, the one that keeps us safe from terrorists? Way to go, DHS! Way to go, TSA!
